The Berkshire Coalition for Suicide Prevention
BCSP is a regional coalition of the state-wide Massachusetts Coalition for Suicide Prevention. Since 1999, the Massachusetts Coalition for Suicide Prevention (MCSP) has been working to bring about awareness and mobilize community action in response to the public health crisis of suicide and self-injury in the Commonwealth. The mission is to prevent suicide through statewide collaboration and advocacy. BCSP established in 2009; still growing and still making a difference

Thank you for your support of the Berkshire Coalition for Suicide Prevention. As of yet, the Berkshire Coalition does not have non-profit status for processing donations and our funding has previously been limited to state grants for suicide prevention. We are currently partnering with the Western MA Chapter of AFSP (American Foundation for Suicide Prevention) for our fundraising which enables us to use donations in support of local suicide prevention work. The American Foundation for Suicide Prevention is the leading national not-for-profit organization exclusively dedicated to understanding and preventing suicide through research, education and advocacy, and to reaching out to people with mental disorders and those impacted by suicide.
If you would like to make a donatation by check to BCSP: Send a check written out to AFSP and write Berkshire Coalition for Suicide Prevention on the memo line (please include the note on the memo line so that your donation will be targeted to support BCSP efforts). Mail it to BCSP, PO Box 472, Pittsfield, MA 01202. Your tax-deductible contribution to AFSP will be help us to continue to bring support, education and advocacy to the local community right here in Berkshire County.
If you would like to donate your time in support of suicide prevention: For more information about ways to support BCSP and Suicide Prevention including volunteer opportunities, and participating in our Education Series or Annual Conference fill out the form above and include your email, phone and/or address and someone will be in contact with you as soon as possible.
